Returns & Refunds Information
1. Overview
We want you to be confident in every purchase you make from Lumeris Bio.
However, due to the specialised nature of our products — intended strictly for laboratory research use — we operate a limited returns policy.
This policy explains when and how returns or refunds may be accepted.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted only if an item arrives:
Damaged during transit,
Defective upon arrival, or
Incorrectly supplied (wrong product or quantity).
We cannot accept returns or refunds for reasons such as:
Change of mind or accidental order,
Products that have been opened, tampered with, or used,
Items damaged due to improper storage or handling after delivery.
3. How to Request a Return
If you believe your order qualifies for a return or replacement:
Contact us at contact@lumerisbio.com within 7 days of receiving your parcel.
Include your order number, a brief description of the issue and clear photos showing any damage or defects.
We will review your case and respond within 5 working days with next steps.
Please do not send any items back until we confirm the return details.
4. Return Shipping
If a return is approved:
We will provide the return instructions and address by email.
Return postage costs may be covered by Lumeris Bio if the item is confirmed defective or incorrect.
Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition.
If the item is returned for any other reason, the customer is responsible for the return postage cost.
5. Refunds and Replacements
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 working days.
If a replacement is preferred and stock is available, it will be dispatched free of charge.
Refunds or replacements are issued at our discretion, based on the evidence provided and inspection results.
6. Lost or Missing Parcels
If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe:

We will open an investigation with Royal Mail.
Replacements or refunds are issued only once the carrier confirms the parcel is officially lost.
Please allow sufficient time for investigations to conclude — typically 7–10 working days for UK shipments.
7. Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us by Royal Mail due to:
Incorrect or incomplete address,
Non-collection after attempted delivery, or
Refusal at delivery,
we will contact you once it arrives back at our facility. Refunds (minus shipping costs) or reshipments can then be arranged as appropriate.
8. Product Handling Disclaimer
All Lumeris Bio products are for research use only.
We cannot accept responsibility for any damage, misuse, or loss resulting from improper handling or use outside the intended laboratory context.
